Meeting of the partners of Support Group

The meeting of the partners of Support Group on monitoring and implementation of PRS was held on March 3-4, 2010 in Khujand. Currently, the Support Group comprises 19 public organizations from Sughd and Khatlon regions and Districts of Republican Subordination. The meeting was dedicated to the results of conducted public monitoring, conducted in the regions on realization of a number of measures on PRS.

In the process of discussion of difficulties, which encountered during the collection of information on places partners have developed a new strategy of the work of Support Group for the next 3 years. During the discussion it was agreed to develop the strategy of Support Group taking into consideration current situation in the sphere of cooperation with the state structures, who are responsible for implementation and monitoring of PRS for 2010-2012 years, and to give special emphasis on raising public awareness about national programs aimed at reducing poverty in a country.

Exchange visits between representatives of the social sector of Sughd region of Tajikistan and Batken region of Kyrgyzstan

Within the framework of the project “Peace and cooperation begins with us”, in 29-30 November 2016 PO ASTI in partnership with the Health Department of Sughd region, and the Executive Body of State authority of Sughd region and with the financial support of the International Organization UNICEF, a cross-border event was held on exchange of experience between representatives of the social sector of Sughd region of Tajikistan and Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Community security in the Ferghana valley

Within the framework of the second phase of the program “Community security in the Ferghana valley - the consolidation and expansion of approaches to security, oriented to people”, jointly implemented with PO “ASTI” and IO “Saferworld” from April 2012, a number of activities aimed at consolidating the cooperation of the population of target communities with local government and law enforcement agencies have been carried out.
