Educational and Manufacturing Enterprise of Asht District

Within the framework of the project "Support for small and medium-sized enterprises on processing of fruit and vegetable production in Tajikistan" created an "Educational and manufacturing enterprise of Asht district.” It is ready to provide its services for the recycling of dried apricot.

"Educational Manufacturing Enterprise of Bokhtar district” has been established in November 2009. It is a training center for high-quality processing and packaging of dried apricot, and allows to households and farms to process and pack their own products on high-quality Turkish equipment. Supplier of the production line is a Turkish company “KORALP”. Performance of the line is up to 4 tons per a shift. Power consumption of the line is 15 kw/h.

EME of Asht district provides the following services:

- washing of dried apricot

- drying of dried apricot

- calibration

- packaging of dried apricot (5kg per box)

On the basis of educational and manufacturing enterprise organized a resource center on providing information about:

- technology of cultivation and crop management

- technology of processing of agricultural products

- manufacturers of processing equipment

- quality standards and certification of the products

- procedures of imports of products

- and many other materials relating to agricultural products.
