Сoordination meeting of partners
On the 8th of February in Khujand city the regular partner meeting of representatives of UNDP Tajikistan, UNDP Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz public organization “Youth of Osh” and the staff of the Association of scientific and technical intelligentsia of Tajikistan was carried out. Focal issues of the upcoming business projects were discussed, which are scheduled to be implemented in the border villages by the youth of the two countries within the framework of the project “Strengthening cooperation of youth in the border communities of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan”. Also were discussed: the criteria for the selection of these projects for the submission to grant and technical support of UNDP, topics of planned educational trainings for the contact groups of young people selected by the project, and coordination on other general practical arrangements for the next 3 - 4 months.
Such meetings help to coordinate and, if necessary, adjust the plans for some joint actions planned in this cross-border project.
