Hursand: I encourage other women to not sit idly by.

Hursand club leader is Malumbi Mirzoazizova, was established in 2013 and now employs 15 people. Deputy Leader, Toydzhiniso Halimova, tell us about her success: thanks to their efforts that they organized medical center in the center of village.

They set a goal - to solve the problem of lack of access to health services and begun to convince other people and representatives of local authorities to jointly take appropriate action. Jamoat agreed to disassemble the old mosque and the allocation of land for the construction of a new building. Local people collected the money themselves; the men rolled up their sleeves and built a medical center. Resident of village alternately cooked them dinner. They did it! Medical Center is where the duties performed by a paramedic and a nurse from a nearby hospital are already working. The Centre must also equip and build a toilet, but now it is clear that in the village began concrete changes. Toydzhiniso, deputy leader of the club, said: "We are conducting propaganda work, encourage other women to not sit idly by and do something together."

This year, our project has also helped to solve these local problems due to holding his consultation. The medical consultation and the opportunity to receive a medical prescription were very important. The consultations also appreciated the opportunity to consult a solicitor - a serious problem in the village visits are persons representing themselves as employees of tax inspection and unreasonably demanding payment of the tax. The consultant explained that the tax is paid once a year, and in the case of this is not announced the visit, you should always ask for a document confirming the position of a person who has arrived.

The project also gave the opportunity to exchange experiences between the club Hursand and clubs of northern Tajikistan. Last year Malumbi Toydzhiniso participated in the visit to Sughd region in 2014 Sughd visited Manzoor. Even during last year's visit, they decided to start sewing. The best example was their club Kunduz Momo. Also interesting is the activity of a confectionery factory and dried fruits.

In a 10-day course in sewing, participated Toydzhiniso that had some experience sewing, but had never worked, using the electric machine. Later, as part of a 5-day course, Toydzhiniso taught the sewing to seven others. They sewed traditional women's clothing, pants and robes. Crosslinked during the course of the clothes they divided between poor families. Now Toydzhiniso teaches knitting to six other women. Club members emphasize that due to sew, they could replenish the fund of the club. So they wanted to continue to develop their skills. They think about the next course in the Center of Excellence: it would be a serious investment, because the cost of the course is $ 100 for two months.

Martin’s cow

There are a lot of women in the club and in the village where the standard of living which is very low. Because of this, last year, the club decided to buy a cow to raise their standard of living. This year again, the woman bought a cow (she still has no name), which takes care of Navrasta Saidalieva. Together with members of the club we go to the field to meet with a cow, bought the project this year.

Cow "Martyn", bought last year, takes care of Manzoor Shamsileeva. Previously, it took care of Malumbi; cow gave birth to a bull, which remained at Malumbi, but unfortunately, he was not feeling well, and after four consultations with a veterinarian, it turned out that he should be killed. Now members of the club are happy, because the new cow calves in the near future.
