What is the religious situation in Ferghana valley
The Network “Valley of Peace” is intending to hold two round tables on the topics “Building a space for dialogue in the sphere of religion” and “Cross-border cooperation in the field of creeping migration” on March 5, 2010. The presentation of research work of the Network on religious and migration situations at border districts of Ferghana in 2009 and discussion of recommendations on these themes will take place. The participants of the round table are: the representatives of government, international and public organizations and religious personalities.
The same meeting will take place in Kygyzstan on March 10, 2010.

PO "ASTI" in partnership with the “Foundation for Tolerance International” and international organization «Saferworld» from June 2010 during 10 months are implementing the project “Preventing conflict through a participatory approach to the safety of border communities in the Ferghana Valley”.

Under the project “Community security in the Ferghana valley” implemented by PO “ASTI” (RT) in cooperation with IO “Saferworld” (UK), PF “Foundation for Tolerance International” (KR) and PO “Youth Initiatives for Development” (RT) in June 2014 a series of meetings were organized in targeted jamoats Surkh and Vorukh of Isfara district to identify security issues with representatives of these communities.
